How matchmaking works in practice?
Attending a matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet new potential cooperation partners. High speed meetings are perfect for first impressions and new contacts!
Register to the matchmaking event. Add information about yourself and your organization.
Your participant profile is visible to other participants on the event website. Your profile should describe clearly what you are looking for and what you can offer to potential partners. The better the participant profile, the more meeting invitations you will receive and your meeting invitations will be better accepted!
Note: The participant profile is your digital business card, and it is visible to all Internet browsers around the world. You might be noticed even by the companies that are not participating in this matchmaking event.
2. Book meetings
Booking of the meetings opens on 1 October 2019.
Check other participants’ profiles and send meeting invitations to those you wish to meet. Remember to also accept/decline incoming meeting invitations. When accepting the meeting invitation, select the most suitable time-slot for the meeting. You can also send messages to other participants via the matchmaking system.
Note: Only accepted meeting invitations are scheduled.
Note: There is an app "b2match" for iPhone, iPad and Android phones. After the registration, you can book meetings, view your agenda and change your profile information via the app. You can also send messages to other participants.
3. Your meeting agenda is online
You can always check your personal meeting agenda online on the event website. The meeting agenda includes information about who you will meet, at what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.
If you cannot make it to the matchmaking event after all, please inform the organizers immediately, or cancel your participation in the matchmaking system (My Attendance).
To make the most of the one-to-one discussions, prepare well for the meetings!
4. Build connections at the event
The pre-scheduled 20min one-to-one meetings take place in the matchmaking area, on the second floor. The organizers are there to help you throughout the event.
5. Give feedback after the event
The organizers will ask for your feedback on the event and the meetings you had.
We highly appreciate your feedback, as it is valuable information on how to improve our matchmaking services and whether the meetings you had were useful and will lead to cooperation.
